About JSA

Established in 2001, Jackson School for the Arts (JSA) is a nonprofit arts academy within Jackson High School that provides an enriched arts education to talented students through specialized curriculum, activities, student organizations, and mentoring.

In addition to rigorous academic curriculum, JSA students are exposed to dance, theater, visual arts, vocal music, and instrumental music. Each student selects a concentration.

US News & World Report ranked Jackson High School number 983, placing it among the top 5.5% of nearly 18,000 schools in the nation. Jackson High School received an overall score of 94.49 out of 100.

More than 1,500 people attended our event which showcased the work of students in academics, theater, dance, visual art, vocal music, and instrumental music
in grades K-12 across the district.
