JSA Extravaganza Breaks Records

JSA Extravaganza Breaks Records

The annual JSA All District Arts Extravaganza, held on February 18, broke attendance and fundraising records as we welcomed the community for a huge event following nearly 3 years of persistent pandemic conditions.

The annual arts showcase celebrated hundreds of artists from across the district, featuring more than 30 live performances and the community’s most impressive display of student artwork.

In 2018, this event broke records with attendance soaring to 1,500. This year, it was even bigger and better.

Students Support Military Personnel with White Christmas

Students Support Military Personnel with White Christmas

This year, Jackson High School students performed the heart-warming musical, White Christmas, to honor and commemorate the sacrifices of World War II veterans and families. The show was an adaptation of the famed 1954 film featuring Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye, and Vera Ellen.

Jackson High School is one of 169 schools in the state who renewed their Purple Star designation with the Ohio Department of Education this year. The honor recognizes a commitment to serving students and families connected to the armed forces.
