Join us on the evening of September 21 for the Grand Opening of JSA's Meraki Gallery with its inaugural exhibit, Product, featuring the work of JSA visual art alumni.
The gallery opening and reception will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m., with an artists reception and talk for JSA and visual art students preceding at 5:30 p.m.
Enjoy beautiful art, light refreshments, fellowship and live music by JSA performing artists from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Admission is free - love donations will be accepted as you depart.

What: The Meraki Gallery is a nonprofit, student-run art gallery and exhibit space at Jackson High School. The grand opening is an exhibit of artworks from JSA alumni students. The exhibit will have light refreshments and live entertainment by JSA students.
When: 6-8 p.m., Sept. 21; local artists exhibiting will arrive at 5:30 p.m. to talk with the JSA students about the works they have on exhibit

Goals for the Meraki Gallery
- Provide students with opportunities to acquire skills important to work in arts administration, as well as the communication, customer service, and task management skills that translate across a number of career fields.
- Showcase exhibits that are designed around a range of artistic approaches, interdisciplinary connections and cultural diversity.
- Provide an opportunity for students to present art in a professional, public setting.
- Provide relevant, real-world experiences for students.
